The Battle of Blindness

Living in a Third World country on the verge of a revolution makes an artist to think. 

When all the decisions are made by the unjust a point comes where everyone turns a blind eye. 

They ignore the rights and wrongs of society as well as they become deaf to their own conscience.
 

They follow blindly or are only focused on what they need, they are held into their little bubble where they are protected.

However, there are rare individuals around us, these are the one's who haven't adopted the herd mentality and are struggling each day to fight the evil not only around them but with in them as well.
 

Their battle is a struggle to keep themselves alive, to work for their society and trying to reinforce the reality or may their own illusion that one man can change the world; that they can spread compassion, that they can be the ones to make everyone realize that sooner or later when the bubble pops - They belong to the same world. A world stricken by evil, injustice, poverty and the pain that the victims of the nation feel.
 

The main protagonist in my peace stands against the crowd, while others simply choose to look away he stares ahead one hand reaching earnestly towards the sky in hope of triumph or in sheer vain. He's covered with the elements of a once happy life time, of trees that are now bare and animals that no longer roam the earth. He is a walking carcass that is burnt to the core mocking and tormenting him.

My vision depicts is the struggle I go through every day - to decide what side of the monarchy I belong to, the ones following blindly or the one causing the blindness.
